I’m Shivam Agarwal, a product designer. The space between those two lines is where I work: products that already do what they promise, and people who still can’t get to it. I close that distance through research and product design.

FluxGen, industrial water and energy
One vertical existed. Four more were already sold.
A water monitoring platform grew into energy, used water, lakes and aquifers in eight months, and all five had to read as a single product.

Klaar, performance management
It could warn about a bad review months early. Nobody gave it the data.
Goals were updated in the last two weeks before reviews, so Klaar's forecast had nothing to work with. The redesign changed how performance data enters the system: when it is written, who sees it, and what it can be used for.
